Lindis Pass is in the mountain range where Steve Fossett was
attempting to break the world altitude record for gliders a couple of
years ago.
I've come up with a good method of getting the colours right when
using the Scanhancer, so instead of spending ages working on the
colour I was able to spend ages spotting dust instead. Oh well, I
was happy to trade frustration for monotony.
Next time I scan a slide like this I might try dICE... but even
without that, this one took about 15 minutes because I used 4x sampling.
