This is likely to turn into a senseless argument, so we should probably
let it die on the vine. But in general I'd say that most people stick
with on OS because they have an investment in time and software. Of
course there's also the "real job factor." Most of us do something
other than post process photos and answer e-mails to earn a living. The
OS used on the job frequently becomes the OS used at home. Finally,
most people realize that Mac OS is relatively virus free only because
most people don't use it. It's a Catch 22, as we used to say in the
seventies. I'm a lifetime Apple user by the way, who started using
Apple computers before the Mac was even a glint in SJ's eye, but I'm
not a zealot, and I think OS discussions are silly and
counterproductive.
