Thank you Cotty. The scan doesn't do the slide complete justice. I'm lucky enough to own the FA 200/4 macro lens and that little critter is amazingly sharp.
That shot was a real struggle to get. I spotted the little guy on that rainy windy early Saturday morning. There was a wooden sign right next to the plant. I couldn't find a good place to put my tripod because the sign interfered with it no matter what I did. I finally picked the tripod up and plunked it down on top of the sign. The rain provided a steady bombardment on that leaf and I had to wait for a calm moment to take the shot. I took two frames in about ten minutes and said "this is hopeless" because of the sign, wind and rain. Both pictures came out very well considering the conditions and dim light.
