I'll second what Herb said about device driver problems but offer two more insights: 1 - The upgrade to Win2k is actually pretty painless. I went from Win98 to Win2k and was amazed at how easy it was. 2 - You can get around Microsoft's privacy-invasive "active registration" pretty easily with a keygen (key generator) crack. Keygen packages are available on the net if you search hard enough :) and I don't have any ethical issues with using them as long as I actually buy a legitimate copy of the software in question and use the keygen only to protect my privacy. I'm buying a copy of Photoshop CS2 today at the university computer store after getting a keygen for it. -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
