Watch out with checked baggage - the airlines only insure cases for a few
hundred dollars (400?), with lower limits on things like jewelry and
cameras.  And if you ask them to mark it fragile, they often ask you sign a
damage claim waiver, and if you refuse to sign, they then refuse to take the
item.  Too many lawyers.
