The 1.7AF TC is a super little performer and discounting its lack lustre build it's probably one of Pentax's best ever TCs (I've just completed some testing). I often have it in my kit and it's just as useful behind my A50/2.8 Macro as it is on longer lenses. Used in conjunction with my Voigtlander 125/2.5 the resultant images are of excellent technical quality even wide open.
