Check the Barnes and Noble website. <http://www.bn.com> They list the CS and CS2 version of both books.
Both titles are very good. If you're purchasing CS2 make sure you get the CS2 version of the book. There is quite a bit of added function in CS2. The replacement of the browser with the Bridge program is a pretty big difference. You might also want to check out "Photoshop CS2 Classroom In a Book" by Adobe. It's more of a structured step by step approach, including a few video lesson and all of the exercise materials on a CD.
