Hm, Darmstadt is famous for Jugenstil, but not for cameras. In fact I
would not know the best shop there, although I've been working there for 5
years. I'd recommend the shop at the eastern exit of the Luisenplatz
(that's this one with the statue of Ludwig on a high pillar).

At least they offer a big second hand market their twice a year. I did not
have any contact, but there's a good club who might have helped you.

Voigtlaender should be known in every good shop, although they are out of
market mostly everywhere (old cameras, now mainly reseller of lenses,
cheap cameras or flims - do they actually build anything on their own? I
considered them as a low quality seller nowadays).

In fact the same is true for Pentax :-(
Most shops offer Nikon and Canon, while only few offer another brand, such
as Minolta/Pentax/Olympus/Leica...

Prices in Germany are high for cameras, so there's no real cheap offer.
What you may get cheaply is some equipment from Russia (some lenses) or
Tschechien (Tchecia? bw-paper, films) which I purchased at Fotostube
Weiden (now Foto Brenner, http://www.fotobrenner.de/) - this shop is good
for extra equipment and workshop, but not for cameras. They offer e.g.
cheap 6x6 cameras, panorama cameras ot other weird stuff - put since you
stick to Pentax, this may be of minor interest to you ;-)

I purchased my MZ-5N at Foto Koch (Duesseldorf, http://www.foto-koch.de/),
while another online seller, apart from technik-direkt is e.g.
Oehling http://www.oehling.de/ (more high-end and digital),
New York Camera (http://www.ny-camera.com) or
Foto Brinker (http://www.fotoversand-brinker.de/
 cheap, but sometimes unclear quality).

When you look at the German FAQs, http://www.drf-faq.de , you'll find a
link to even more shops: http://home.t-online.de/home/TFrank/fotoversender.htm

In fact this is one of the excellent source when you have questions to
photographie in Germany: news:de.rec.fotografie , a high volume newsgroup,
but very well kept.
