I have been looking at the C-8080 Wide Zoom. It's getting outstanding reviews for image quality. Maybe I'll get it cheap in a couple of years :-) I'm quite happy with my *ist D though. And sstill impressed with my F 70-210mm: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bladt/23452893/
