I'm not a huge fan of the standard 50/55mm lens, actually. Last time I
shot with my SV I used the 35mm f2. It worked better for landscape-type
photos and let me include more of the environment in my people
shots. It's the old "time and a place for everything" deal. Sometimes
50mm is the right focal length, or I just need the speed.
