The LX was *very* expensive when new. It is a favourite. Because it sold, unlike the MZ-S that was hit by the digital turmoil and the fact the brand was/is unfashionable.
This is a thread about personal likes. The LX will never be in my wish-list, unlike the MZ-S. YMMV, but the survey, in my opinion, cannot determine if there is a fundamental flaw with the newer Pentax cameras. In terms of interface and features they differ so much from each other that a generalisation is not possible, I don't think.
