IIRC they're building one enormous athletics stadium that will stay after the event, but many of the other events will be re-using existing facilities (eg Wimbledon, Wembley, Lords, the Dome) or held in stadia that will be dismantled afterwards and shipped off to different bits of the country. Or something.
