I remembered I have a K 135mm 3.5 :) I had a look, the link between the focus ring and the part that does the focus can not be at the front of the lens, it's also not under the rubber focus ring cover so it must be to the back of the focusing scale. Lokking at the http://www.bdimitrov.de/kmp/ site I can see the M lens is different but probably simillar.
