Hello:
iView sounds like a viable solution. If you use it to set the Creation
Date to be the same as the Modified date during transfer to your HD,
does the Modified Date field subsequently behave as a "modified" field
should; i.e. will changes to the original file then result in an
updating of the info in this field to reflect the date & time of the
modification?

I use iView Media Pro 2 most of the time, and have it set the Created
field to be the same as the Modified field when it transfers files
from media card to my working drive.
