Mine was a general and comparative statement on why Pentax chose to use a better viewfinder in spite of its relative class of the body, and I was talking about only the "DSLR" in certain price bracket (that's the only market Pentax currently serve anyway). I was talking more in terms of *istD vs. 20D or *istDs vs. RebelXT etc. Obviously MF can be done on any Canon DSLR, but when I purchased an *istDs recently, I checked out the 20D and RebelXT and obviously, the Canon designers were telling the consumers to rely on their AF :-). Now, if you are using 1D or 1Ds, I am sure it would be a different story. Cheers, Ken
