It's also quite good at cleaning oil stains on concrete.

Dave

Thanks. I'll have to try that. Except, if I do that, I'll be boosting their
profits. Better start using generic muck instead of the branded muck. 8-)

I agree with you 100%, I still can't figure out why they would sue him,
If I was coke I would try and make it go away quietly
instead of calling the worlds attention to it. What pisses me off is
that water is cheap, we pay about $1 for 1000 litres of good clean
water, drinkable straight from the tap, and $1.50 roughly
for 1.25L of coke, all they add was some sugar and flavour. Thats more
than we pay for petrol, so which is the true black gold????

Photography is a funny
thing, you could use a camera to record pics of your newborn
and the very same camera to take one of worlds largest companies.
What I still havn't found out what happens to all the cocaine that's a
byproduct of making coke, must be a couple million tons by now.
They stopped putting cocaine in it before the first world war. Allegedly. I
use it for derusting and freeing rusted together parts. It's cheaper (and
marginally safer) than buying phosphoric acid by itself.

Good for him - let's hope that Coca Cola are stupid enough to sue him

The depletion of water supplies to facilitate the manufacture of their
disgusting 'cola' is a scandal - but, sadly, just another example of
the contempt in which major corporations (many of them American ones)
hold the Indian population.

Remember the Union Carbide debacle at Bhopal? - 60,00 killed and
injured because Union Carbide didn't maintain their plant as
stringently as they would have been forced to if it had been operating
in a 'developed' country.

Which, of course, is why Union Carbide were in Bhopal in the first place.

Now we have Coca-Cola (surely, one of *the* most useless and
unnecessary companies on earth) inflicting drought on Indian peasants
in the name of profit.

Shades of 'McLibel' - although it must be pointed out that McDonalds
*were not* responsible for the murders of Amazonian Indians by
Ranchers who wanted to use their land to graze cattle that would later
be sold to the grotesque Clown - after all, their extremely high
priced Lawyer said that they weren't..
