Sounds like a CLA may be inorder, as you say it was inactive for a while. I have 2 K1000's and they differ by about 1 1/2 stops with same lens and light source. My Dad's older one seems more accurate than mine. I just adjust the aperature or speed if i use mine. > > Where does one find this "grey card"? What is it, > how's it used? Meters try and make everything 18% grey. The grey card is just that. Place it in a well lite area, no shadows or glare and fill the frame with the card. Note reading and check the next camera.
