Been doing that forever. On my trip, I carried six lenses so that I'd have the options ... but I don't think I ever went out with more than three of them at a time. And I much more normally carry the camera with one lens fitted and one in a different range in the bag, to accommodate possible change of mood while I'm out taking pictures.
