I agree. RAW is truly amazing, and because the conversion process allows you to pull in highlights and brighten shadows, it gives digital a working dynamic range that is at least the equal of anything I've shot with when working with a single exposure. Working with multiple exposures, it's incomparable. I recently helped a Canon shooter get started with the PSCS RAW converter. She's is an experienced art director and has worked for many years with film and existing tiffs or jpegs, She is simply blown away by the capability and falling in love with the process. It not only yields great results, it's great fun.
