Juan, My wife and I (mostly my wife) bought a Pentax 750z a couple months ago. Steve's Digicams has good things to say about it. http://www.steves-digicams.com/2004_reviews/optio750z.html DPreview is a bit more mixed: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/pentax750z/
One reason we liked this camera is the optical viewfinder. I believe the Lumix cameras have lcd viewfinders. My only gripe with the view finder is it's lack of coverage. I'm not sure what the actual coverage is, but I'd guess about 80% or so. The LCD screen itself actually articulates. It can be reversed and closed against the camera body. I use the LCD primarily for waist level viewing. We primarily use it for family snapshots. My wife really likes this one: http://twosixteen.com/gallery/index.php?id=31. One other possible drawback is that it does not record a RAW image. TIFF and JPG only. This doesn't really bother me, but just by reading the list I'm sure quite a few people would feel hindered by it. Overall, it has some nice features and we've been quite pleased with it. Lemme know if I can tell you anything else about it.
