Hi!

I was thinking that I'd like to try one of the new high resolution P&S
cameras for street shooting. There are now 6Mp and 8Mp compact point
and shoots, and it is tempting to get one to play with in the
street...

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX1 even has a RAW mode, and at 3:2 the images
are higher res than the ones from the istD:

(and funny enough it has a Leica lens)

But even the new Optio 60 is something I'd try, if the quality is good enough.

Anyone shooting with one of these high res, small CCD cameras? What
kind of quality should I expect from something like this, compared to
the istD?

All I can say that the "L" engraving on bottom right corner of the face of the camera looks *exactly* the same as "L" on my ZX-L...

;-)
