LOL. Henrik Ibsen was also born in 1828. To see if there was something slightly closer to on-topic in this, I googled the words photography 1828, and came up with one interesting link: http://www.niepce.com/pagus/invus3.html The Daguerrotype was not yet conceived, so photography was not yet born, as such. However, this year Nicephore Niepce invented a new photographic process, based on a light sensitive substance called "Judea bitumen". Interestingly, this is a negative process, and thus predates Talbot's process (which is generally considered as the first negative process) by more than a decade.
