Actually, I find some of the reactions quite surprising...
The context photo was merely a snap shot, with no compositional effort or intent other than to capture the scene. Nor did I find the building an eyesore. I found it to be a unique and intriguing edifice. I romanticized it in my mind as a piece of Alaskan Americana, though now I know better.
