I just upgraded my CPU from an AMD Athlon XP 2400+ to the XP 3200+ and immediately had problems with intermittent (and increasingly recurring) screen blackouts. I have solved the problem by slowing my FSB frequency (the automatic setup in BIOS wanted 200Mhz and I manually overrode it to run at 166Mhz).
