This was taken at the Beaches Jazz Festival last weekend. I normally wouldn't shoot people at a restaurant (unless I knew them), as it's sort of a private place, but the street was closed off for the Festival, and cameras and flashes were going off everywhere - I hoped they wouldn't notice one grab (I don't think they did). Besides, they weren't eating at the time.
Okay, enough excuses. I felt for this kid, mostly because I can recall many such dinners with "Family" when I was her age, and I was equally bored to tears.
