Pete Meyers makes the move from digital back to film. Some of what he

article. Perhaps some here will find his comments mirror their own
feelings. I'm sure others will dismiss what he has to say with little
thought ... progress moves forward and Pete - and others, including myself

I found it a very interesting artlcle, and thought provoking.
I especially liked one paragraph, if I had to pick one...
" My photographic medium comes in a roll with thirty-six image sensors
to a box. Each box also provides the user with a free, image-memory
system — which is highly archival. And finally, the completed images
don’t even need to be viewed on a computer monitor at all — you can just
view the images directly on a light table with a loop! Magic."
Except for criticizing his spell-checker, I like the thrust of his
comments. Another way of looking at film...
Good one, and I saved it for further reading when I can take some time
and think about it.
The usual problem arises, much as I'd like a Leica MP, there's no way I
could justify purchasing one, and especially with two or three lenses.
Not unless I sold my car! <g>
Oh well, if you can ignore the heavy Leica love affair flavor of the
article, it's a good one, and most of it well worth taking to heart.
