I agree, and I hope they let those of us that wish to shoot film
for a while longer do so.
I compare film to digital like I do wood carving by hand to doing
so with a computer guided laser.
Both take vision, knowledge, skill and practice.
Just different knowlege, and different skills, same vision.
Both can achieve beautiful results.
I just happen to enjoy the "old ways" sometimes.
