Yeah, I thought about that after I posted, and I guess it can get pretty fuzzy, huh? I would say it's a camera with a shutter mechanism that will work independantly of a battery. So, basically, a camera that, if it has a battery, is only used for the light meter, and can run without the batter/meter. Make sense? So, an LX would be included in the mix, as it will work battery-free from shutter sync and up; only the slower speeds are battery-dependant. If anyone has any other definitions, feel free to jump in. BTW, Shel, I'd heard that the Konica Hexar in "stealth" mode is pretty damned quiet (near silent), but as you pointed out, not an SLR.
