Anyone else have a fall story and good news after.??

I have two fall stories.

I was shooting some wedding portraits when I picked up the tripod to move it. The quick release wasn't quite latched and my MF Kowa camera toppled off the tripod and landed nose first on the sidewalk. It put a dent in the front of the lens and crunched the focusing mechanism.

I was shooting some dewdrops on a piece of grass at the edge of a lake in Vermont when (again) the quick release wasn't completely latched and my MZ-S with stacked lens setup slowly toppled forward and landed nose first in the mud. The mud was fairly firm and no real harm was done. I wanted to see how far I could heave that tripod out into the lake at that point.

I'm very very careful when using the quick release now.
