Get the Voigtländer/Cosina 4/21mm. It's an excellent little lens, and
does copy many of the Leitz virtues of lens design. Not up to modern
21mm ASPH of course, but other friends who have it (and who have used
Leitz glass for years professionaly) like it a lot.

Especially for the
unbeatable price. One warning though - Cosina's quality control is
nowhere near as good as Leica's, and I have seen their lenses range
from "average" (still quite better compared to a same price SLR lens)
to excellent in optical quality. So if you have the option, go to a
big shop and test several.

I am planning for the Cosina myself, or if funds permit later on, for
the new Zeiss Biogon in M mount - 2.8/21mm
