Hi Group.I have a question that may be a bit hard to put in writing but here goes
anyway.
For the most part I shot Kodak Max 400 in both my K1000,SP 500 and my new to me SF-1
with no problems as far as quality prints. My lab guy is a Fuji nut so I agreed to try
the Superia
400 and bought about 8-10 rolls.I would shoot my horses in the same light put Kodak in
one
Fugi in thre other then reverse to see if any difference.(some but thats a later
thread).
I have noticed one thing with Fuji and the SF-1,about 1-3 pictures seem to have a
orange/red
or greenish elipse in the bottom right corner of some prints. This hue is on the
negative aswell
as the print and is visible for about 1/8 of the print. My last Fugi roll shot this
past weekend
in that camera has 5 pic's near the end, some with the elipse, some with some lines
running
vertical from the film sprocket holes up the neg and visible on the print as a greeny
tint.I
cannot tell if this is a colour flaw, light some how getting in the camera back or
what.I plan on
talking to the lab owner to get his feedback but he was not in tonight. The strange
part is the
Kodak shot in the camera is fine as is the Fuji in the K1000.
The camera had a small spill 2 months ago when my lowepro fell over in the truck but i
shot
3-4 rolls of Kodak after and no problem.
My ???? is do you think it is a film problem or a possible light leak in the
camera.(Told you its
hard to explain)I have Photoshop now so if i can get a scan done in the next few days
i'll post
an example if it will help.

Sorry for the windy one today.

Dave
