I have one, it is my number one lens unless I am doing macro. If you don't
buy it, please let me know (off list) how I can contact the seller and I
will buy it. Or, if you want to take a chance, I will guarantee you that at
any time in the next 3 years that you want to sell the lens I will pay you
�100 plus any documented repair costs you might have.

In other words, this is far too good a lens for it to be homeless!  Take it
in off the streets, give it loving care, and it will be your friend for
life.
