Well, each to his own. I prefer quite a lot the thinner body, as I

smaller to
my eyes and hands than MX with 2/35 SMC-M. Because of the mirrorbox
and all.
I was just looking at the black MX next to the DS, both with 50mm f/
1.7 lenses on them. They're both wonderful, small cameras for SLRs!
The thickness of the DS body fits my hands better .. I have large
hands ... but "de gustibus non disputandem"!
But I am no Leica nut ;-) Good condition Fed with 4/21mm
Voigtlander lens - now that's small, cheapest and lovely! (actually,
it's almost two times cheaper than any major manufacturer 20mm 2.8
lens!!!)
The VC 21mm is a very nice lens for the money, although I recall that
it was a bit prone to flare. I had the VC Heliar 15 ASPH along with
the 40/2 for the Leica CL. That was a wonderful two-lens street kit,
although I actually found the 15mm lens to be a bit too extreme and
should have stuck with the 21mm instead.
