I actually have the M28/3.5, which is great, but frankly, I wanted an
A lens. I had no problem shooting in manual mode with the M6 and the
MX, but with those cameras changing the exposure is much faster, plus
I was shooting tri-X, which is very benevolent if you tend to err on
the overexposure side. With the istD, it is a bit like shooting slide
film, and the hyper mode is the way to go imho.

I would have gotten an A28 if I'd found one...
