I received numerous JD Powers surveys when I bought a new car, month after
month. The enticement of receiving a coupon for a $100 dinner at a local
restaurant just wasn't enough to make me pay attention.
Oh, and I just remembered this... you won't believe it. After not having
responded several months, the auto dealer themselves sent me a letter and
left a voicemail message, asking if I would give THEM permission to fill out
the survey, and again I would get a $100 dinner.
