I came out as a centrist, something I never gave much thought about being...
As I gave it some thought, I realized that as with most Q & A quizzes, there ARE no clear yes or no answers to a lot of subjects ~ that the phrase "it depends" applies as often as not. In other words, it's not a black and white world, and it really DOES depend on the situation in any given instance...

Extenuating circumstances apply almost universally.
That's not equivocating, it's recognizing the fact that simple answers ignore almost all the details. And, it's the details that... what's the phrase, "The devil is in the details?"

I guess it's that that gives me the moniker "centrist."

For example, I marked all the "Economic Issues" (second section of the quiz) with an M for Maybe. I could postulate positions for both yes and no for each question, so the final evaluation had to be "maybe." It does depend.
