I like the idea of this photo a lot. It would have been stronger to my eye if you'd framed the shot from a little bit more to the right, so that you were square-on to the bench rather than at a slight angle. The slight angle and the perspective it gives just tips the balance of the composition off a little bit, reduces it from the geometric graphic that my eye wants to see to something less.
I quite agree with you Godfrey. This is perhaps that second take I should've taken which I did not... I wasn't thinking of the geometry really.
