the D-FA is significantly lighter and somewhat smaller. used FA ones in good
condition will be quite close in price. i find the D-FA much easier to use,
although it isn't as ruggedly built.

So, at this point I am really choosing between the F/FA (which could
be found used) and D-FA (which is unlikely to be found used at a price
suffiently lower than a new one, if at all): price vs. weight.
