Again not really an answer to istDs but......
I found that the AA liths in the D are the best either single or those crv3
thingys..
Next are rechargables, and ONLY for emergencies AA alkalines.
The lith's i can get around 700-800 shots, but i chimp alot.
Recharables about 300
AA alkalines about 20
