I believe you're right.

I subscribe to 9 work related groups, 4 photo related groups and 11 firearm
related groups. Over 500 posts a day show up in my system. I have time to
look at perhaps 50. The other 450 or so are dumped either manually or
automatically (to save time). If the word "digest" is in the title. it's
gone. I see from your reply that I miss some good stuff. Well, as I said, I
don't have the time to even quickly scan over 500 posts.

Me too, but not if "digest" is in the subject line. That post is already
gone.

I agree with you. I enjoy all these things too. My post was not about "off
topic". I could care less, and as everyone else on the list will tell you, I
enjoy the occasional "off topic" post, unless someone starts a belligerent
thread (rare).
All I said was that if the subject is "Subject: pentax-discuss-digest V1
#xxx", It's highly unlikely that I'll see it. If it's a response to
something I said and you're wondering why I didn't answer a question you may
have posed concerning something I said, this is why. I don't have any beef.
I just don't have the time.
Regards,
Bob...
