No intention of offending... You're right it was sick and intended as such.
(It's sick that I'm working today). My apologies.

More or less, I was trying to be the belligerent kind of poster you were
mentioning.

I thought you could joke like that, just not to a peace officer, airport
gate official, or school teacher.

Tom C.

"America, land of the armed and the free"

Actually firearms scare me to death which is why I don't own one even though
I've had a bear in my yard and two mountain lions were sighted a quarter
mile away. I feel the danger that firearms present is equal to or greater
than the safety they could provide.

My biggest weapon is a 2 foot long Mighty Mag flashlight. It's black and
very manly. The bear didn't like it. He was eating stale Fritos. That was
OK, I didn't want them. His eyes just glowed back at me in an exquisite
emerald green. Then he wuffed and walked up the driveway after finishing
the corn chips.

That's my other plan. I always carry fritos when hiking. If a bear is
chasing me I'll laugh in his face and throw a bag of Fritos at him... or
conk him on the head with my PZ-1p. That'll send him/her for a loop. :-)

Did you know that one of my wife's friends husband is a beef buyer and at
cattle auctions...?

All of the above is true. I just haven't started carrying the Fritos with
me.

Don't let this scare you off Will Robb. I am still loooking forward to that
Merlot.

In regards to firearms, I'm only speaking for myself... I know many firearm
owners and collectors are very responsible and take that responsibilty
seriously. I appreciate that. I just don't want the reponsibility.
