I tend to shoot automatic at wedding receptions, occasionally outdoors in
low light conditions and often when shooting family snaps. I've never hade
that problem with any of my five LXen.

By all means, marry. If you get a good wife, you'll become happy;
if you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

Bill, do you compensate for this by lowering the ISO setting?
If so, by how much?
With colour print film, I generally overexpose by 2/3 of a stop as a
matter of course.
Slide film, I tend to stick to the rated speed and compensate accordingly.
I've never had much luck with the LX in auto. I'll be happily shooting
away, and when I process the film, find a few shots per roll that are, for
no apparent reason, 4 or so stops underexposed.
