Hi Don, Glad to see you here this morning. As noted elsewhere, I was thinking of it as a decent performing lens for the DS. Prices seem to be pretty reasonable, and since there are plenty of other 50mm optics here, the A 1.7 now seems like a good addition, esp for DS use. Perhaps at some point a few more A lenses will find their way to the equipment shelf ;-))
