Hello Vic, I quite like the second pic. Nice composition and a cute moment caught. Very nice. The second shot seems to suffer a bit from flare, would be my guess. I pulled it down and did a quick level of the histogram. That put the blacks back in and then pushed the color saturation up. The picture improves quite a bit. So with a little editing, the picture could be very nice.
