Get out of here, with fine grain films like TMAX 100 and the proverbial tech pan you can get way way higher than 45-55 lpm on film. Go to kodak website and look it up, its more like 200 and up lpm for the best films themselves which is certainly higher than an INTERPOLATED 6MP APS digital sensor like the ones used by pentax and the others...
You are the first person I have ever heard make that claim, that 6MP APS is as high as best film resolution because its not equal in resolution to best 35mm films...
