Incidentally, I think I got more pre-publication subscriptions to my new
newsletter from the PDML than from any other place, and I really want to
thank all of you for your generous support. I'm really very grateful and
quite complimented that people would actually pay for such a thing
sight-unseen. The newsletter got a LOT of subscriptions in advance from a
lot of different sources, which of course really pleases me.
Although every dollar helped of course, it was actually Albano Garcia's
subscription which put the newsletter "over the top" and sent it off to the
printer!
Issue 1 is at the printer now and should be ready at the end of next week. I
ended up making it significantly longer than originally planned (well, you
know how I tend to go on <s>). Although the lens report in this issue is of
a Nikon lens, a Pentax lens will get prominent treatment in issue number 2.
