WHY WOULD A NEW LENS FEATURE that isnt even possible without pushing a button be a an unecessary burden? Its not like the green button thing because with that you get a lower level function than you already had to begin with without the need to push a button and the button pushing thing isnt necessary at to get the original function(S) due to any compatability issues whatsoever... BIG DIFFERENCE.
Cant you guys tell the difference between new functions and their requirements vs maintaining basic functions but adding new burdens to use them without any compatabiliy issues causing this retrograde in user functions? In other words: dumber bodies than what you had before? IS requirement of inputting focal length is PROGRESS, green button is REGRESS. Fairly straight forward. True. But it's likely to be greeted with venom-spewing fury by those who consider pushing a green button an onerous burden. -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
