I haven't been involved with this thread since Shel mentioned that a decent digi-p&s would be good for me (which is where all this started, quite innocently on Shel's part). Hey, listen, an Optio-like thingie ain't anywhere near the top of my wish-list. I mean, I've played with 'em, and they're lots of fun, and take good piccies, but really, if I had enough money for one of them, I'd rather buy a used lens or some film or a bike part (I want on-the-bar Campy shifters to replace my current bar-ends) - I could go on, but really, I've got many other priorities should I unexpectedly come into money. It's been fun to read these posts, which I know are with the best of intentions, but I'm really not in the market right now. I think the first digi I buy will be a DSLR. I've got a pocketable Leica CL that more than serves my mini-stealth-camera needs. cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson
