The K/M lenses are NOT no longer in use.
If they were this thread would not exist
and green button patch would not exist but
they DO. Just because you don't use them
doesn't mean they arent being used. the
whole world doesn't revolve around you.
Not everybody wants things like AF lenses
because AF lenses are LESS functional for
MF applications because they don't manually
focus as well as AF lenses do. But you
wouldn't know that either. You still think
old=obsolete < new=better in all cases. 
Wrong, your equation just isnt true as I have repeatly
pointed out to you...

Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary definition of obsolete:
a: no longer in use
b: of a kind or style no longer current

Technical or functional obsolescence:

1. When a new, more functional product or technology supersedes the old 

2. The product becomes useless due to changes in other products

The lenses are obsolete whether you want to admit it or not.
