BAH!! <LOL> Well, thanks, Mark, as I'm sure you intended that as a compliment. <g> But, seriously, I've been doing some thinking about that very subject recently (I think it was after the discussion of my latest blur-o-rama shot, Chinatown Abstract). I'm willing to concede that some of my photos may be art (with a small "a"), insofar as they express ideas and emotions that I could express no other way (and I'm not saying that's the ~definition~ of art, but it's certainly a large component of it, IMHO), and those expressions seem to have an impact on viewers other than me. That being said, anyone can create art; sometimes a 5 year old in kindergarten "art class" may create something that's art. Certainly though, that doesn't make them an artist. So, this may (or may not) be art, but even if it is, I'm still not an artist.
